Julie Chen Moonves, who was one of the initial hosts and moderators of The Talk (a Daytime Emmy Award winning talk show) was back on the air to host The Talk on August 5th for its 22nd season. Her writing background was evident before she became a host, but her desire was to write. It actually won her an Emmy. She also won an Emmy for her role as host of an outstanding entertainment talk program. The Talk is a show that examines current events by having five hosts. Chen Moonves co-hosted CBS Newsthe weekday morning show The Early Show in 2002 as well as in 2010, before becoming host of the talk show. Her previous roles included anchoring the CBS Morning News and The Early Show. Following the 9/11 attacks, she was sent to Cairo and found the hijacker's lead father to give him an fascinating interview.
